Refined Water Shellac
This is a pre-dissolved aqueous shellac solution ready to use for dipping felt hats.
Hydrolac B-5 Powder
A specially processed powder based on refined (dewaxed) bleached shellac and pre-alkalized with sodium borate (Borax) for hats.
Felt Hat Stiffener
An alcohol-based hat stiffener which is commonly used as an aftermarket treatment on felt hats. This stiffener can be diluted with alcohol and is typically spray applied onto the surface of the hat.
Aquasize FHL 160
An aqueous semi-translucent white dispersion. The FHL 160 is an especially good sizing agent on white or light colored felt hats.
Aquasize SHL 135M
A water-based opaque white stiffening solution used on all types of seagrass and straw hats.

A water-based acrylic copolymer emulsion that is used on glazed and unglazed paper hats.
